Community

Linguafour is an online community that celebrates Singapore’s unique linguistic heritage in having four national languages from four different language families. This is a treasure that belongs to all Singaporeans and we want to share it.

Newsletter

We collect and share pieces of this treasure primarily through a monthly newsletter. It is free to subscribe: simply add your email address to the list.

You can browse and search the Archive to find previous editions of the newsletter and read them free of charge. Why not share one you particularly enjoyed with others and encourage them to subscribe too?

We love to hear your stories! Do please share the treasures you find in Singapore’s linguistic heritage with us via email and we’ll look to include them in future publications. Photos are very welcome but please remember to let us know who to credit each picture to, ideally with a web link.

We add general information about the community (such as why we see Singapore’s linguistic heritage as a treasure or how our logo came about) to the website as additional posts. We put the posts that address the most frequently asked questions under Featured Posts.

You do not need to log in to be part of the community, enjoying the newsletters and posts and connecting with us through social media and email.

The Beehiiv platform that hosts our community supports other functions like polls and surveys. If you are ever invited to use those, you may be prompted to log in to ensure each person’s vote is only counted once etc.
